Meet the dedicated Executive Board of the Pet Refuge ABC Clinic
Pam Comer, President
Nancy started volunteering at Pet Refuge in 2001. She formerly had been an elementary teacher in the Mishawaka School System. Over the years at Pet Refuge she has worked in the office, fostered puppies, and produced the newsletter. She has found that her experience as a teacher has helped her train the puppies that were in her care. Many of the same skills apply as far as consistency and patience. She loves her kids whether they are 2 or 4 legged.
Angie moved to the Michiana area in 2009 from the St. Louis, MO area. She is originally from Iowa. Angie has a passion and love for animals. Saving them is what she does best! Angie works professional in the accounting field. She currently holds two Associates degrees from AIB College of Business, a Bachelor’s degree from Graceland University, and a MBA from University of Phoenix. Angie enjoys volunteering with Pet Refuge. And her favorite part is caring for older, sick, or behavioral challenged dogs. She recently adopted a Great Dane that came to Pet Refuge from a neglectful situation. They are currently training together for Zara to be a therapy dog.
